Denflare Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: September 27, 2026

1. About Denflare and these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of denflare.com and the Denflare booking service. By using Denflare or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Denflare.

Denflare (“Denflare,” “we,” “us”) is an online service based in Calgary, Alberta that helps patients find and book same-day and emergency appointments at independent partner dental clinics.

Denflare is a booking service only. We do not provide dental or medical care, advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Dentists and staff at the clinic you book with are solely responsible for your care.

Denflare is not for life-threatening emergencies. If you have severe facial swelling, a high fever, uncontrolled bleeding, trouble breathing or swallowing, or a serious injury to your face or jaw, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

2. Eligibility and your information

You must be at least 18 years old to book an appointment. A parent or legal guardian may book on behalf of someone under 18 and accepts these Terms on their behalf.

When you book, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, contact details, and reason for visit. If you book for someone else, you confirm you have their permission to share their information with us and the clinic.

3. Bookings

Openings shown on Denflare are provided by partner clinics. We do our best to keep them accurate and current, but availability can change at any time, and we do not guarantee that any specific time, clinic, or appointment will be available.

When you book, we send your booking details to the clinic and email you a confirmation. In rare cases, a clinic may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If that happens, the clinic or Denflare will contact you and, where possible, help you find another opening.

The clinic decides what care you receive, which may depend on its assessment when you arrive. Your appointment may address your urgent concern first, with further treatment booked separately.

4. Cancellations, no-shows, and fees

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact the clinic directly as soon as possible, using the phone number in your confirmation email. Same-day openings are limited, and cancelling early lets another patient in pain take your spot.

Each clinic sets its own cancellation and no-show policies, which may include fees. You are responsible for any fees the clinic charges under its policies.

Using Denflare to find and book an appointment is free for patients. All charges for dental care, including exam, treatment, and insurance billing, are between you and the clinic. Denflare does not process payments for your dental care and is not responsible for what your insurance covers.

5. Partner clinics

Clinics listed on Denflare are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Denflare. We do not control and are not responsible for the care, advice, conduct, pricing, or policies of any clinic or its staff.

Clinics are responsible for keeping their openings accurate, for patient care and clinical records, and for complying with their professional and legal obligations. If you have a concern about the care you received, please contact the clinic directly. Clinics that partner with Denflare may also be subject to a separate clinic agreement, which governs if it conflicts with these Terms.

6. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You agree not to:

  • Make fake, duplicate, or bad-faith bookings, or book slots you do not intend to attend
  • Provide false information or impersonate someone else
  • Scrape, copy, or collect data from denflare.com using automated tools
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to Denflare or its systems
  • Use Denflare for any unlawful purpose

We may cancel bookings or restrict access for anyone who breaks these rules.

The Denflare name, logo, website, and content are owned by Denflare and protected by law. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

7. Third-party services and privacy

Denflare may link to or rely on third-party services, such as maps, email, and clinic websites. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information, including sharing your booking details with the clinic you choose.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Disclaimer. Denflare is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we make no promises that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any opening will be available, or that you will be seen at a particular time.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Denflare is not liable for:

  • The dental care, advice, or treatment you receive from any clinic
  • Missed, delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled appointments
  • Inaccurate availability or clinic information
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to Denflare is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Denflare in the 12 months before the claim, if any, or $100 CAD.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act or other laws that cannot be waived by agreement.

9. Indemnity and termination

Indemnity. You agree to cover Denflare's reasonable losses, including legal fees, arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, or false information you provide, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination. We may suspend or end your access to Denflare, or cancel bookings, if you break these Terms or misuse the service. We may also change, pause, or discontinue any part of Denflare at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, survive after your use ends.

10. Governing law, changes, and contact

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Alberta, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will provide notice on our website. Continuing to use Denflare after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Denflare about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
